Celebrate National Train Day with us! We have a work party at the South Cle Elum Rail Yard from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 10.
Tasks during the work party could include:
- Vegetation control
- Depot work (interior dusting, window washing, painting, display case repair)
- Substation interior and exterior clean-up
We’d love to have you join our volunteer work crew!
If you can’t volunteer, drop by and visit. CRF Board members and other volunteers will be available to answer questions. If you are interested in volunteering as a depot host this summer, this event would be a great opportunity to learn more about it.

Show up dressed for dirty work and bring your favorite gloves.
Bring your tools if you can. Hand tools for vegetation trimming and pruning would be useful.
