We have scheduled two weekend work parties in September to continue the work we started in the spring. Our plan is to work on cleaning up the substation and maintaining the vegetation in the rail yard.
The first work party is scheduled for Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13.
The second work party is scheduled for Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27.
We start work at 10 a.m. and generally work until 3 p.m. There will be a celebration of Cascade Rail Foundation’s 16th birthday and a Board meeting during the evening of the 12th.
You don’t have to be there for the full weekend. Join us for one or both days. If you have to arrive a little late or leave a bit early, that is fine too. Show up dressed for dirty work and bring your favorite work gloves. We have fantastic volunteers — become one of them!
